Registration

Can be done at the Ketchikan Gateway Borough Recreation Center. Register for class at any time.

Seibukan can also be taken for credit through the University of Alaska Southeast in Ketchikan. Registration is through the University and then signup is through the Recreation Center. Contact Sensei Peabody for more details and curriculum.

Adult/teen Class:
Tuesday 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Thursday 7:30pm to 8:50pm
Saturday 7:00am to 8:30am

Kids Class:
Thursday 6:00pm to 7:00pm

Individual instruction is available on a limited basis.

Instruction

Sensei Christopher Peabody, Sandan, began studying under Renshi Warren Berto in 1985 at age 6 and became the Sensei of the Ketchikan Dojo in 2003 when Renshi Berto moved to Washington. Sensei Peabody returned to Ketchikan after graduating from the Art Institute of Seattle and the University of Idaho.
