Her Sempai is Denise Howard, Shodan.
Sensei Terry Burt began training in 1991 at the Stanwood, Washington Dojo under Sensei John Burt. She attained the rank of Shodan in March, 1996, Nidan in October 1998 and Sandan in November 2003. Her current Sensei is Renshi Warren Berto. Sensei Terry Burt has lived in Lake Havasu City since 2000, and is a Pharmacist. Her spouse is John Burt, and she is stepmother to P.J. Burt (a fireman) and Angela Marshall (a college student). Her pastimes are traveling, kayaking, learning to speak Japanese, and spending time with her dog, Katie. Her Karate Aspirations are to help people with physical challenges learn Karate, and to train women in Marital Arts and Self Defense.
